Vegetarian and Vegan Society: Treasurer

Hi! I’m Shri, a first-year Sociology student. I’m nominating myself for the role of Treasurer for VegSoc. I would say that I’m really good at budgeting, organising, and planning, and I feel confident about managing and recording income and outgoings responsibly. I would love the opportunity to take on this role in a society I really enjoy.

I’m not fully vegetarian just yet; however, I strongly advocate for ethical eating and believe that making responsible food choices is very important. My favourite savoury food is my mum’s rice and mango dahl! As for something sweet, I absolutely love fruit!
