Urban Farmers Society: Welfare Officer

As Welfare Officer, I want every member of Urban Farmers to feel genuinely supported and properly looked after. My name is Khaleem Hasham, and I’m just as committed to being a strong Welfare Officer as you are to your gardening. I have a clear vision for the future of Urban Farmers’ welfare through open communication, meaningful engagement, and plenty of fun!

By encouraging a strong channel for two-way communication with the wider Urban Farmers Society's members, I want to increase participation in our events, and make sure that their wellbeing is properly looked after. From gardening sessions to social events, I have exciting plans to bring the society closer together. I’ll introduce engaging socials, active group chat discussions, and more interactive online posts.

Having served as Social Media Officer for the National Honor Society and created promotional material for Friends of GEE, I understand how important communication is in building a sense of community and acting as a reliable point of contact for important matters. Vote for me, and I promise to use this experience to effectively contribute to Urban Farmers.
