Ultimate Frisbee Club: Treasurer

As a well-organised person who has never lived paycheck to paycheck, I’m confident that I can manage the club’s finances carefully and transparently. I also have experience handling budgets, having worked as the treasurer for a non-profit student magazine club for the past two years, where I managed expenses and helped ensure funds were used responsibly. I will make sure the club’s money is used where it matters most: booking good hotels or B&Bs for tournaments, arranging efficient transport when we travel, and most importantly securing the best pitches close to the main campus (with the best view :)) at a fair price EVERY SINGLE WEEK. With solid budgeting and planning, situations like “the pitches were already booked so we’ve got nowhere to play” or “we can only play on non-4G pitches because we’re broke” should never happen. Being part of this team has given me a strong sense of community, and I want to give back by making sure the club’s resources are used effectively so the team can keep growing and more players can enjoy these opportunities. :D
