Hi everyone, I'm Hayley and I'm excited to run to be your next R&D officer.
Tennis has always been a hobby I've turned to - although not the most skilled - it has served as an outlet outside of classes for me to relax and meet people from different courses. I am passionate about sharing this experience with more people which is why I'm running for this role. I want to make UCL tennis even more accessible and welcoming to everyone, especially for those who have always wanted to try tennis but felt too intimidated.
As R&D officer, I would focus on making tennis sessions more structured and tailored to different ability levels. This is done by introducing a weekly skills or technique focus - such as serves, volleys or match tactics - which would give players the opportunity to drop in with a clear goal and see tangible improvements. This would ensure the session feels purposeful without taking away the relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, I would love to organise more social mixers and mini tournaments, helping to build confidence and strengthen the community within the club.
So, why vote for me? I'm organised, approachable, and genuinely passionate about bringing more fun to the tennis community. With the resources UCL Tennis already has, I'm confident that anyone—whether you're a pro player or have never picked up a racket—can benefit from being part of this society.
Hi, I’m Aya, and I’m running for Recreation & Development Coordinator for the UCL Tennis Society because I want to continue building an environment where both new and experienced players can improve, compete, and enjoy the sport.
I am Currently a coordinator for Recreation & Development, UCL Tennis Society – Organized and scheduled weekly recreational sessions, managing participation for 200+ members and ensuring sessions were accessible for beginners while still supporting player development.
As Recreation & Development Coordinator, I would focus on structured recreational sessions, beginner-friendly coaching opportunities, and development pathways for players who want to improve or move into competitive teams, while keeping tennis accessible and enjoyable for all members.
Hi guys, I'm Tina! I'm applying for the research and development recreation and development role, and I'm really here to make everyone's tennis experience something memorable.
What does Tennis do, besides keeping you fit, helping you think on the spot, boosting your reflexes, and building amazing glutes? Wonderful friendships, and that's what I hope to research well as your dedicated R&D coordinator. I hope to keep everyone up to date on the weekly tennis sessions timings and venues, I will be happy to accommodate and arrange everyone's schedules if any of you guys are struggling with work or other commitments. Masterclasses and other fun social events (who doesn't want a pizza social on a sunny day) are also something I hope to incorporate into this society division to make all your money worth.
Here to serve and help everyone have an amazing experience with R&D TENNIS CLUB!!!!! Let’s make next year even better than this one! Feel free to reach out! You will most likely find me on the mezzanine floor of science library or send me a message on Instagram (@1t1na1).
