I’d love to help share more of what our club does through social media. It would be great to highlight matches, events and club activities so more people can see what’s going on.
Hi everyone, I’m Capri, and I’m standing for Communication & Media Secretary of the UCL Tennis Club as I’d love to support the tennis community’s growth by contributing my familiarity with digital design. As a current LUSL Team member, I understand the competitive aspects of the Club as well as the importance of announcing events on the Instagram accounts. I’d like to elevate our current social media presence by creating a coherent visual theme that strengthens UCL Tennis’ identity whilst consistently posting weekly socials, match highlight results, and upcoming events.
Having previously led sports teams of 60+ members, I’ve developed not only strong time-management, communication and feedback-seeking skills but also creativity in running our team Instagram (@lpcdragons). Hence, experience showed me how crucial social media can be for bridging different parts of the Club, between: training and wider team life, competitive and social players, but especially current and prospecting members – for whom our Instagram presence is often their first impression and point of contact.
Furthermore, having worked in Digital Marketing, I have the graphic design skills that combine vital communication of key details (event, date, venue) with visually aesthetic designs. A key idea I’d introduce would be engaging reels and more dynamic content such as the behind-the-scenes of training, competitions, or even player spotlights. Thank you, and I’d love to support the tennis community next year!
Hi everyone, I'm Tina and I have always loved playing tennis, and seeing lots of inter-university events really makes me want to ensure that our society gains greater visibility, both across our campus and across different universities.
I hope to be able to contribute my experience of social media trends, TikTok video production and managing social media accounts to create catchy contents promoting our society and clearly shares key updates for all members. As a finalist for the UCL Singer competition, I am very confident in using my voice and expressing myself, and I am eager to collaborate closely with the rest of the team to build a strong, connected tennis club spirit.
As a recreational player myself (can be found during the advanced 4-6pm sessions), I want to use my presence to help tennis beginners learn more bout techniques and the sport, by sharing practical tips on technique - from backhands and serving to game rules and court movement, with professional guidance from the amazing coaches of course. One of the videos that I plan to release would be Top 5 mistakes that Beginners make in Tennis, with an aim to make tennis learning accessible and fun.
I hope to build a welcoming and generous social media atmosphere, and would humbly appreciate all your support in voting me as your passionate Communications & Media Secretary. Feel free to reach out! You will most likely find me on the mezzanine floor of science library or send me a message on Instagram (@1t1na1).
