TEDx Society: Conference Director

I am standing for Conference Director because I am passionate about creating meaningful events that bring people together to share ideas and inspire conversation.

My interest in conference organisation began when I served as President of TEDxSCIE for two consecutive years. During that time, I independently organised four annual TEDx conferences on themes such as Gender Equality, AI, and Charity, managing speaker outreach, event planning, and a team of over 30 members to deliver events attended by more than 200 people.

This year, I have also been serving as Conference Director for TEDxUCL, where I have gained valuable experience coordinating with committee members, planning the conference structure, and working on speaker outreach and event logistics. Through this role, I have developed a strong understanding of how TEDxUCL operates and what is needed to deliver a successful conference.

If elected, I hope to build on this experience to organise a conference that is engaging, well-curated, and impactful. I would focus on bringing diverse speakers, ensuring smooth collaboration across the committee, and creating an event that reflects TEDx’s mission of spreading ideas worth sharing.

With my experience organising large-scale conferences and leading teams, I would love the opportunity to continue contributing to TEDxUCL and help deliver an inspiring conference for the UCL community.
