Technology Society: Treasurer

hey! I'm Haziq, I’m a first year student studying Physics here at UCL. 

i'm going for treasurer because the better the money is managed, the better the events and experiences the tech society can bring to members — and that's something I actually want to have a hand in. during my gap year I've interned under a financial manager where I've worked on monthly reports, liquidity analysis, financial statements and cutting down on inefficiencies — so I have some real experience to bring to the role.

outside of academia, i love going to the gym, going on late night drives, traveling around the world and meeting new people!

physics and tech overlap more than people think — a lot of the research science I want to pursue sits right at that intersection, whether that's AI, medicine, or beyond. This society is where I want to start building towards that.

and it's not just about the numbers — if other committee members need a hand with anything, i'm there for that too. a good committee works together and I want to be part of that.
