Why me?

Summit success: As Finance Officer on the O&G Committee, I helped organise SurgSoc’s first ever O&G Summit, a huge milestone that brought together 50 students and 20 clinicians across England.

Leadership & delivery: I’m currently Executive Events Officer in MedSoc, helping deliver large-scale events like the Networking Reception. I understand how to run high-quality events, manage logistics, and work within a wider committee to turn ideas into reality.

Academic passion: Having designed and delivered a structured O&G teaching series, my interest in O&G goes beyond events. I care deeply about women’s health and expanding student engagement with it.

My vision:

An even bigger O&G Summit: Building on this year’s success with broader specialty representation and stronger networking opportunities, establishing it as our flagship annual event.

Early exposure: Accessible intro sessions, research talks, and practical workshops so students can explore O&G long before 5th year.

O&G for everyone: Whether you’re set on surgery, curious to explore women’s health, or just want exam-focused teaching, I want our events to benefit all UCL medical students.
