Surf Club: Trip Secretary

Friends, surfers, glorified beach bums!

I have lived, travelled, and stumbled my way through enough corners of the world to know how to turn a trip into a proper story. Not a "here are some photos" story, more of a "you won't believe what happened story!" The kind that gets better and more exaggerated every time someone tells it. I've got a collection of those already and I'd very much like to add even more surf club chapters with you all!

So here's what you're getting if you vote for me:

1. Unrivalled destinations - not just the obvious picks. I want us going places that feel like a find, somewhere you're genuinely excited to tell people about before you've even packed, but also go back to a couple of the good old spots that'll bring waves of nostalgia to the seasoned members of this hallowed club. Some of these new locations may require a certain amount of creative negotiation with the Union. Am I ready for that? Absolutely!
2. The kind of organisation that looks effortless but absolutely isn't - every detail sorted, every hostel vetted, every transfer accounted for. And then just enough flexibility for the trip to take on a life of its own. Because I am a firm believer that the best moments happen slightly off-script.
3. Food. Proper food - I have a perhaps unhealthy passion for good food and I am not willing to compromise on this. Every trip will have at least one meal that makes you momentarily forget you nearly drowned that morning.
