Students for Global Health Society: Treasurer

As a first-year Population Health Science student, Students for Global Health has been one of the most inspiring parts of my UCL journey. The society’s mission to tackle global health inequalities through education, advocacy, and community action strongly resonates with me. As Treasurer, I want to ensure our finances are transparent, sustainable, and impactful, enabling the society to expand its campaigns, events, and opportunities for members.

Sustainable & Transparent Finances
-Manage budgets responsibly to support key global health campaigns and society activities
-Apply for grants and seek sponsorships to expand funding and opportunities
-Ensure clear financial reporting so members see how funds drive impact

Supporting Events & Campaigns
-Allocate funds for weekly events, workshops, conferences, and volunteering initiatives
-Work with the committee to turn ambitious ideas into achievable projects
-Help keep events accessible and affordable for all members

Fundraising for Global Health Impact
-Organise regular fundraising events to support global health causes
-Collaborate with charities, NGOs, and partners to maximise outreach and impact

I am organised, reliable, and responsible with extensive leadership and volunteering experience. I’m passionate about helping the society grow, and as Treasurer, I will ensure our resources are managed effectively to support impactful campaigns, inspiring events, and meaningful opportunities that drive real change in global health.

Hello everyone! 

I have really enjoyed being part of the UCL SfGH committee this past year, so I am rerunning for treasurer! I really enjoyed my iBSc in global health, and I have a good relationship with the lecturers from the department, so I am hoping we can organise guest speaker talks by them, as well as potentially research opportunities specific for members of the society! 

I have also held several committee positions across the SU, so I have the skills to keep up my role of treasurer.
