Squash Club: Women's 1s Captain

Over the past year, it has been an absolute privilege to serve as your Women’s 1s Captain. Together, we have achieved one of the most successful seasons in recent history — winning LUSL, achieving 2nd place in BUCS, and earning a place on the High Performance Programme. These achievements are a testament not only to our talent, but to our cohesion, resilience, and collective belief in one another. Having led the team to these milestones, I am motivated and prepared to continue building on this momentum next year.

On a personal level, I have been present at almost every match, coordinated fixtures and logistics proactively, ensured smooth communication between players, opponents, and the club. Having been deeply involved in fixture organization this year, I understand what it takes behind the scenes to ensure we perform at our best, and I am committed to maintaining that standard.

Besides our successes on court, my proudest achievements this year has been helping to cultivate a team atmosphere that is supportive, inclusive, and friendly. I believe every member should feel valued and have the opportunity to contribute, regardless of experience level. Therefore, I will continue to promote open communication, organize socials to strengthen bonds beyond training and ensure everyone feels seen and supported.

I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished, and it would be an honour to continue serving as your captain and lead us into the next season!
