Snooker and Pool Club: Social Media Manager

Before joining the society, I didn’t expect I’d enjoy playing snooker as much as I do, but after attending a few sessions as a total novice, I’ve really come to enjoy it! I’d like to be Social Media Manager because I think the society’s social media could be a lot more active and engaging, and help bring in more people who are interested in snooker. Achievements and wins should also be celebrated, as people should be proud of them, and I’ve noticed this hasn’t been updated much recently. Events and upcoming sessions could also be shared more regularly so members know what’s going on. I’m an active participant in the society and am excited to get more involved going forward!

I’m standing for Social Media Manager to help promote the UCL Snooker & Pool Club and make our community more visible online. I have experience in photography, Photoshop, Lightroom, and video editing, which can help create engaging posts and highlights. I hope to keep the club’s social media active and attract more students to join our events and sessions.
