I’m running for President because I genuinely care about the Snooker and Pool Society and am excited about its future. Having been an active member for nearly two years, I’ve witnessed firsthand what drives our success and where there’s potential to achieve even more.

I took the position of an Events Coordinator in my second year, collaborating closely with the Treasurer. I now have a thorough understanding of how society functions weekly because of this experience. I've been involved in the processes that sustain our society, from planning socials and events to handling finances and logistics. From this experience, I’ve become well aware of how things work and how to run the society well.

Now, I’d like to step up and take on the responsibility of leading it. I want to build on what we've already established, maintain a friendly yet competitive environment, and ensure that both new and returning members feel like they're a part of something meaningful. I'm standing because I know I can perform the job effectively and contribute to the development of society.

I am standing for President because I care deeply about our Club and want to play a leading role in its continued growth. Having served as Treasurer this year, I have developed a strong understanding of how the club operates, from financial planning and event organisation to communication within the committee. That experience has given me a clear and practical insight into what keeps the club running effectively.

Alongside my committee role, I have represented UCL in tournaments, which means I understand the club from a player’s perspective as well. I know how important structure, preparation, and support are in creating the best possible experience for members. This combination of committee experience and competitive involvement allows me to approach the role with both perspective and responsibility.

Next year, I would like to expand what we offer as a club. In particular, I plan to organise more events, including local friendly tournaments, so that more members have the opportunity to compete and represent the club. By planning earlier and building on what we have learned this year, I believe we can create a more active calendar while maintaining strong organisation and financial stability.

I am organised, reliable, and committed to the long term development of the club. I want to lead in a way that is steady, proactive, and focused on creating more opportunities for everyone involved. I would be proud to serve as President and continue helping the club move forward.

I want to run for the president of the Billiards Club because I love billiards and I also hope to do some practical things for the club. I hope that with everyone's joint efforts, we can build the Billiards Club into a more cohesive and dynamic one. I want to provide a platform for students who like billiards to showcase and exchange their skills, and also make it easy for those with no foundation to join and feel the charm of billiards. If I have the opportunity to be elected, I will organize activities responsibly, listen to everyone's ideas, and make the Billiards Club better and better.
