I’m standing for Vice President because I want to play a bigger part in shaping how Sikh Society runs and develops over the year. I’ve been involved through langar and Kirtan Darbar, which has shown me how much work goes into keeping everything consistent and well organised. Seeing what happens behind the scenes made me realise that strong structure and teamwork are what allow our events and initiatives to run smoothly.

Being Vice President means being someone the committee can rely on, keeping things on track, making sure communication is clear, and helping turn ideas into actual results. It’s about maintaining momentum throughout the year. I want to help build a society that works efficiently and stays united, especially when things get busy, while still reflecting Sikhi in the way we operate and represent ourselves.

Through Sikh Society, we have the chance to create a strong and lasting impact on campus. That impact doesn’t just come from big events, but from consistency, planning and accountability. I want to help make sure we’re structured, focused and always moving forward.
