Sikh Society: Events Officer

I’m applying for Events Officer because I want Sikh Society to feel welcoming, organised, and full of moments that bring people together. I’ve already been active in the society this year, helping out wherever needed, and I enjoy creating spaces where people feel comfortable and included. I’ve taught Punjabi for three years, which gave me experience planning weekly sessions, managing groups, and keeping things running smoothly. Alongside that, my background in economics, accounting and my chemistry degree have made me organised, reliable, and good at handling details. As Events Officer, I want to help create meaningful, well‑run events that reflect our values and strengthen our community.
