Tanisha Mwendah

Hello! I’m Tanisha, a penultimate year biomedical engineering student, and I would like to be your Technology Editor next year. 

Over the last few years I have spent at UCL, my passion for scientific research and journalism has only grown. As one of the current Editors for Science Magazine, I have thoroughly enjoyed publishing other students’ work and learning more about their diverse interests; broadening my view of the world and doing that for the readers as well. As a biomedical engineering student, my interests have always been interdisciplinary, so I greatly appreciate the variety that comes with this role. 

I have had the opportunity to hone my attention to detail, clarity, and precision when it comes to writing, as well as learn what makes an engaging story. If elected, I plan to continue to practice leadership and organisation within everything I collaborate on. I hope this society continues to inspire students to give a voice to their ideas, and I would like to be apart of that.
