Salsa Society: Events Coordinator

I am excited to nominate myself for the roles of Performance Coordinator Secretary for our Salsa Society. Over my time in the society, I have developed not only a strong passion for salsa but also a deep appreciation for the organisation, teamwork, and creative coordination that make our events and performances successful. Performance is one of the most visible and exciting aspects of our society. As Performance Coordinator Secretary, I would prioritise structure, consistency, and performer development.

I would:

• Support both beginners and experienced dancers in feeling confident on stage.
• Coordinate costumes, music editing, tech requirements, and stage logistics well in advance.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging rehearsal environment that balances discipline with enjoyment.

I believe performances should feel polished and cohesive while still showcasing individual personality and growth. I would work closely with choreographers and team members to ensure that everyone feels prepared and proud of what we present.
