Rugby Club (Women's): Vice President

Hey guys! As many of you know, I’m Carly and I’m running to be your Vice President for the 2026/27 season. Although you may know me as just your yappy, little, number 9, I promise I have many other qualities that would allow me to carry out this position in the most beneficial way for this amazing club. 

Although I’ve only been playing rugby for 3 years, it has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and having found a club and a group of people that make it more enjoyable than ever has made me want to give back as best as I can. As Vice President, I would be in charge of making you some super sexy stash, even though topping Mimi’s efforts this year may prove challenging… As well as this, moving away from home this year has taught me the importance of staying on top of admin tasks, something obviously crucial for this role. 

My goals for the following years committee would be for it to continue to be a welcoming, friendly place, and that any newcomers are able to enjoy it and make as many amazing friends as I have been able to this year. I would be honoured to be a part of a club as special as this one, one which made the transition from moving overseas that much easier, and that introduced me to people I can’t believe I’ve only known for 7 whole months.
