Rugby Club (Women's): Vice Captain

I’ve decided to run for vice-captain because being part of this team this season has massively boosted my confidence both in rugby and in other aspects of life. I want to use that confidence to help lead the group, support my teammates in becoming better players, and help create an environment on and off the pitch where everyone feels supported and able to develop.

As vice-captain, I would aim to:

·      Ensure everyone feels included and supported within the group

·      Keep team morale and energy high especially in tougher games

·      Support player development by helping people build confidence in their roles

This team has given me a lot this season, and I’d love to play a role in creating the same experience in the upcoming season for the current and new players. I’ll support the captain fully and do my best to ensure we have another brilliant season.
