Rugby Club (Women's): President

Hey legends!

You may already know me, Mimi, as your outgoing VP; I’ve had bags of fun being part of the club and working with an excellent committee – I’m really excited to hopefully work with more amazing incoming rugby ladies who love this club as much as I do.

After a year as VP, I’m super eager to lead our lovely club and keep improving it for current and future members. I’ve been with UCLWRFC since I joined UCL in 2024! When I joined, I was a newbie to playing (loved to watch), so it matters to me to keep a really welcoming atmosphere for new players!

Onto the good stuff, my priorities:

Recruitment

• I want to keep last year's momentum, and get as many women into rugby as possible, both experienced and newbies. 

Communication and atmosphere: 

• Strong, positive relationships between all members keep us all together!  I’d also like to set aside time each week where I’ll be available for help with club stuff, or even unrelated chats (so that I can keep an eye on you rascals). 
• Also encouraging wags (inc me!). They mean so much at matches, especially when it’s not going our way. I’ll expect everyone in their best Balmoral fits!

Teamwork and performance

• to make sure our captains and coaches have everything necessary to pull us through amazing matches. I’d do my best to facilitate match admin, equipment etc

Launching new initiatives!

• Some great ideas (charity partnerships) are being thrown around. If, together, we can get these off the ground, that would be heavenly.
