I love the club and all members and want to make sure the club remains a wholesome place
I still remember how welcomed I felt when I first joined the club in September. From the very first session, it was clear that UCL Rugby is more than just a team — it is a community built on support, camaraderie, and genuine care for one another. That immediate sense of belonging made a huge impact on my experience, both on and off the pitch.
It is this feeling that motivates me to run for Welfare Officer. I want to ensure that every new member, whether they arrive confident or uncertain, experiences the same warm, inclusive environment that I was fortunate to find. Welfare should never be an afterthought; it should be embedded in the culture of the club and visible in everything we do.
If elected, I am committed to building on the strong foundations already in place and working proactively with the committee to strengthen our support systems. A key goal of mine will be to help take UCL Rugby from its current Silver Welfare Status to Golden Welfare Status. This means not only meeting the required standards but fostering a culture where wellbeing, accessibility, and inclusivity are genuinely prioritised.
Ultimately, I want to help preserve what makes this club special while pushing our welfare standards even higher for the future.
