UCL Men’s Rugby is one of UCL's most recently formed clubs, committed to providing the opportunity for players of any ability or experience to enjoy playing university rugby. Commencing in September 2020, we will be running two teams in the BUCS leagues, with the aim of a highly competitive first XV season, culminating in the Varsity Fixture against Kings at the end of the season, and a second XV offering opportunities for players of more diverse experience.

We train twice a week in preparation for Wednesday matches:

· Monday evenings in Camden from 9-10pm

· Sunday afternoons in Regents Park from 2-4pm

BUCS matches take place on Wednesday afternoons, with home games at Shenley and away games in and around the South East.

We are an active social society, with weekly socials run on Wednesday evenings, often in collaboration with other UCL societies. On top of this, Men’s Rugby also offers the opportunity for involvement in the wider UCL community; whether it’s partaking in fundraising events with other societies for charities such as Movember, or engaging with campus-wide initiatives such as The Not Cool Club, there are always opportunities to represent the club off the pitch.

We encourage anyone of any ability and background to get involved; regardless of whether you’re new to rugby or a highly experienced player, UCL Men’s rugby offers opportunities to meet new people, both on and off the pitch, and develop your rugby in a close environment.
