Rugby Club (Men's): Treasurer

I want to stand as treasurer for UCL rugby because the rugby club is so important for my university experience. Not only have I had the great opportunity to represent the university on the rugby pitch but the socials and club culture have enabled me to find friends and thrive at university. I understand that treasurer is an important role within the committee but I feel my allegiance and loyalty to the club will help with the responsibility. Being on the committee is something I am especially keen to do, because I can directly influence the upward trajectory of the club on and off the field. Since I have joined the club there is a real feel good factor and there are results stemming from that on the pitch. I would like to contribute to that and take it further if I undertake the role of governing the club’s finances. It is a role I would treat with the upmost respect and dedicate as much of my time as I can to the admin making sure the finances run smoothly and are never a problem.
