Rugby Club (Men's): Marketing Secretary

I’m standing for marketing secretary because I think my experience and skills in similar roles make me a prime candidate to represent the club on social media and beyond. 

I was elected as KCL Men’s Rugby Media Secretary before my departure last year, and therefore know about all the technical and professional procedures behind putting out high quality and visually appealing templates and themes, using adobe, canvas or whatever outputs better product. I strongly believe in bettering the clubs media and online presence every year, by diversifying the content that is put out on the account. For example, more reels and TikTok’s with competitive team members especially around certain dates in the academic year (freshers, movember, Christmas, VARSITY). Additionally, prioritising giving recognition to members of competitive squads, such as introducing man of the matches, man of the terms and more.

Being part of a committee for a brief time last year I’m also comfortable with being part of a large team and coming up with meaningful and impactful decisions. 

Lastly, I love the club and look forward to being part of the engine that runs it, but most importantly to improve it and further help it grow through its most important asset which is online presence.
