I would love to be part of the committee as Head of Events because I believe there are still many areas of robotics that remain relatively unexplored, particularly in specialised fields such as marine and aerial robotics, as well as collaborative group projects and activities. Compared to other societies, there is strong potential for Robotics Society to expand further in these areas.

Although there have been many valuable MATLAB, CAD, and PCB workshops, I would love to see more hands-on sessions focused on specialised or niche areas that students do not usually have the access or time to explore, even when they are genuinely interested. Robotics is inherently practical and multidisciplinary, and I believe events should reflect exactly that. Alongside this, I have been working on my own projects, including an autonomous FPV drone designed to navigate through obstacles and locate objects, a soft robotic continuum gripper, and a magnetic Arduino module system. When I first started my drone project, it was just myself and one other student. As it progressed, more people became eager to get involved and learn how to assemble and build these systems, as many had not previously had the opportunity.

Organising and building these projects with others has been incredibly rewarding, especially when everything finally starts working. I would love to bring the same collaborative workspace so members can build, experiment, and explore advanced areas of robotics together.
