Quant Society: Head of Outreach

I am running for Head of Outreach because I genuinely believe in the value of an active and connected quantitative community. As someone exploring quantitative finance from a physics background, I understand how powerful it is to have access to industry insight, peers with shared interests, and real opportunities to grow.

Personally, I believe I would be benefited from a more active and strong Quant Soc community, and that is exactly why I am motivated to help build one. I want to create a society where members feel supported, challenged, and connected, rather than navigating their interests in isolation.

As a first-year student, I understand the pressure and uncertainty that often come with entering a new and competitive field. While this may seem like inexperience, I believe it gives me valuable perspective on what students truly need. 

If elected, I would focus on building long-term relationships with industry partners, inviting relevant speakers, and collaborating with other societies to expand our reach and visibility. My goal is to make Quant Soc a vibrant, outward-facing community that creates tangible opportunities for its members.
