Public Speaking Society: Treasurer

Public Speaking Soc has been a great way to help me become confident in speaking. I would love to be treasurer to so I could help the society to run more events and increase student engagement.

As a member of Public Speaking since 2024, attending society meets every week for almost two years has been a highlight of my week. Now I would love to give back to the society. As Treasurer, I will be committed to keeping pizza and Werewolf night and finding a budget for other fun and social events without increasing the membership cost. My experience as Sports Secretary for Chemical Engineering Society has given me vast experience in filing receipts for pitch/court bookings and compromising with the treasurer for budget . I believe with my experience as a member for almost two years and my experience in committee positions, I can flourish in this role and ensure Public speaking will become a highlight of the week for you too.
