Christine Chan

Hi, I’m Christine, a Pharmacy student. UCLPASS has given me a true sense of belonging and a group of friends I deeply cherish. As your proposed Social Service Officer, I want to give back to the community that welcomed me by creating meaningful volunteering opportunities and encouraging that same sense of connection for every member.

Being in the Amazing Raise committee this year showed me how much of a difference we can make when we work as a team. I enjoyed organising the flagship and I am excited to lead it to even greater success next year. With my experience in logistics and event planning, I can ensure the event runs smoothly and effectively. My goal is to foster a culture of team unity and clear communication, ensuring every volunteering opportunity is rewarding for our members.

King Yin Chan

Hi guys! I'm Ernest, a BA Comparative Literature freshman striving for the title of Social Service Officer.

Throughout the numerous years that I had been volunteering and tutoring children, a voice often echoed in my head:

"Life is never just sunshine and rainbows, there are always storms and hurricanes."

Yet, when we brave the headwinds, not only can we enjoy the sunlight peeking through the gloomy clouds ourselves but also share that blessing with others who are less fortunate.

I endeavor to encourage members to participate in this grand mission as well, to bring all to witness that light that is called hope.

My journey in social service has equipped me with valuable skills and experiences:

UCL PASS SS Subcommittee
