Pokémon Society: President

Hey all! I'm Sagar, and well - it's hard to know where to begin. 

Pokésoc means the world to me; being your Treasurer has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I've learnt so much about myself over the last two years, and without our community, I don't know where I'd be. I wouldn’t have had the confidence to apply for this role last year, but now it just feels like the natural next step.

From the start, I've cared about preserving this soc's legacy. I’ve worked to strengthen the foundations that keep it thriving, not just through healthy finances & accessible events, but also by making sure future committees inherit something even better than mine did. Whether it was designing Magearna to simplify and future-proof our processes, or improving internal docs around planning and values, I’ve tried to make sure the work I do now continues to pay off long after I’ve stepped down. Ultimately, I want Pokésoc to feel stronger each year than it did the last, and that's the mindset I intend to carry into my Presidency >:)

At the end of the day, my main focus is the members' experience! After laying the groundwork backstage, I'm eager to stand out front and push this society even further. Having built a solid relationship with the SU, I know there are resources we still haven't taken advantage of, so I want us now aiming for even bigger & brighter events. I’ll do everything I can to grow Pokésoc further - while always staying true to the community I love so much <333
