In parkour club, we welcome people from different backgrounds. There might be times when members feel left out or mentally checked out. In any circumstances, as a wellbeing office, I wish to support those in need and guide them to the necessary resources available and make them feel included in our society.

Hello, I’m Helian and since joining Parkour in September, I have felt hugely welcomed. That’s why I want to run for welfare officer, so that new a returning members continue to enjoy and have the same fun I have had in the society!

I understand that if there is a welfare concern, it is always difficult to express such worries, but I will do my best to be both a kind ear and helpful guide to official resources. My experience in running origami club in high school has taught me the importance of empathy and effective communication; something I’ll be sure to bring along to the role.

As a regular (and allegedly sufficiently goofy) member, I will definitely be available to help to make Parkour an enjoyable club for everyone! :)
