Parkour Club: Treasurer

With a STEM based background, I am very accustomed to working with numbers and spreadsheets. Dare I say I actually like working with spreadsheets? This gives me the perfect set of skills to make an excellent treasurer! I'm detailed oriented and always on top of things, so you can trust that I'll do a good job. I'm hoping to get a bit more involved next year (l was taken out by a hand injury this year) and get to know all of you a bit better!! Hi everyone, I’m Daniel, and I’m nominating myself to be next year’s Parkour Society Treasurer. I’ve really enjoyed this year’s sessions and socials (especially the ones I actually managed to show up to), and being part of the society has been one of the highlights of my year. Hello, I’m Helian and joining Parkour has made my university experience so much more fun, which is why I want to run for treasurer to help shape the society in the future!

I am quick to learn, highly organized and reliable. Running and organizing a club in high school, on top of other commitments has taught me how to effectively manage time and stay on top of tasks; a skill which I’m sure would be hugely useful.

Although I lack formal experience in managing finances :( , my skills as a (self proclaimed) cheapskate, and as obsessive checker of my personal finances Excel spreadsheet has taught be how to manage personal finances, a skill which I will definitely bring to the role. Overall, I would love to be on committee to help to shape the club in the future and keep it moving forwards! :)
