Pakistan Society: General Secretary

As an international student, I was initially worried about finding my place in a completely new city but joining Pakistan Society gave me a sense of belonging and home in a country so far away from my own. Through this society, I met some of my closest friends and created memories that I will always cherish, which is why it means so much to me. Now, as I approach my third year, I want to give back even more to the community that gave me so much. Serving as Media Officer this year allowed me to understand how the committee works behind the scenes and strengthened my commitment to making the society even more active, organised, and welcoming. I believe that as General Secretary, I can help foster an environment where every international student feels the same comfort and support that I once needed. I want Pakistan Society to remain a safe and welcoming space for everyone — a place where we can stay connected to our culture while building lifelong friendships. My goal for next year would be to make this society even more open and accessible to everyone, ensuring everyone has an equally opportunity to have fun and meet great people :) While I’ve loved creating fun and engaging content this year, I’m excited to take on greater responsibility and contribute even more to the society’s growth and impact next year.
