I've decided to run for vice president because after my time as 2nd team captain this role has only deepened how much I genuinely love netball; not just the sport itself, but the sense of community, resilience, and teamwork it builds. Being part of UCL Netball Club has been one of the most rewarding parts of my university experience, and I would love the opportunity to give back even more to a club that has given me so much. As 2nd Team Captain, I’ve had the chance to see how the club operates behind the scenes. I’ve learned what works really well and, importantly, where there are areas we could improve. Whether that’s communication between teams, organisation of trials, or creating an even stronger sense of unity across squads. I’m passionate about helping us build on our strengths while making thoughtful, practical changes that enhance everyone’s experience. Vice President feels comfortable for me after gaining lots of knowledge about UCNC and I can't wait to contribute to UCNC's new cohort next year the way the committee contributed to my enjoyment this year!

I am standing for Vice President because this club has shaped my university experience so positively and I would love the opportunity to give something back. Through netball, I have met so many incredible people and built friendships with an amazing group of girls who have made this year so fun and special. The sense of community, encouragement and support within this society is something I truly value. Before joining the 6s, I was involved in both Social and TeamUCL netball, which allowed me to experience different sides of the club. When I joined the 6s halfway through the season, it was the committee's organisation and clear communication that made the transition smooth and welcoming. The experience showed me how important the administrative side of the club is in making members feel supported, and it's something I would love to contribute to. The club has helped me grow in confidence both on and off the court and I'm incredibly grateful for that. As Vice President, I would ensure that future members have the same opportunities to grow, compete and build lasting friendships that I have been lucky enough to experience. I understand the administrative importance of this role- helping things run smoothly, organising kit, supporting the President and committee and ensuring clear communication. I am reliable, approachable and ready to contribute behind the scenes to help the club continue to thrive, so all members can continue to benefit from everything netball has to offer.
