Suchita Thapa

Over the past year, as part of Nepsoc committee, I’ve been involved in organising and promoting several events, including Chaat Night and our society pub crawl. Seeing people come together, meet new friends, and celebrate Nepali culture has been incredibly rewarding. Through my role as Marketing Officer, I’ve also worked to increase engagement with the society by improving our social media presence and making sure our events reached as many students as possible.

In addition, I’ve served as the UCL ambassador for Merging NepSoc, which focuses on collaboration with Nepali societies at other universities and strengthen connections between different student communities.

If elected Vice President, I hope to build on the momentum from this year by supporting the committee, helping organise even more creative events, and continuing to strengthen the sense of community within the society. I already have several exciting ideas for next year that will focus on making events more inclusive, engaging, and memorable for both new and returning members.
