Musical Theatre Society: Secretary

Hi, my name is Diya and I’m excited to be running for Secretary! Musical theatre has always been a big part of my life and a community I really value. I know how important good organisation is in creating a supportive, non-stressful environment  where everyone can get the most out of their experience. 

Having been part of both the production team and cast for recent Spotlight productions, I’ve seen first-hand how valuable clear communication and coordination are to keeping everything running smoothly. Through leading my school’s largest STEM club, I also gained experience managing meetings, planning event logistics, and communicating with the members. I learned how easily missed information or unclear scheduling can impact an event and how much smoother things feel when everything is well organised.

I would love to help maintain a positive and structured environment both on and off stage, and I’m really excited to keep working with all of you!
