Kiki Tang

Hi! My name is Kiki, and I’m excited to apply for Head of Marketing for MODO Fashion Society. As a current committee as the Head of Volunteering and Outreach, I’ve gained first-hand insight into how MODO operates from planning timelines to executing events, which has strengthened both my passion for fashion beyond academics and my understanding of how to effectively promote and grow our society.

With an A-Level in Textiles, I developed a strong eye for detail and a deep appreciation for design. Alongside this, my role as Marketing Officer for the Lifestyle Medicine Society has allowed me to create and manage engaging content across TikTok and Instagram using CapCut and Canva, building skills in visual storytelling, branding, and audience engagement.

Contributing to MODO Mag’s creative direction has further taught me how to collaborate within a team and translate a shared vision into cohesive visuals and campaigns. With my experience and understanding of how MODO runs, I’m confident in my ability to elevate our visual identity and deliver exciting, inclusive, and impactful marketing across our social media platforms.

Dan Huu Nguyen

I have been a Marketing Executive this year and I’ve really enjoyed my experience in the team. So far, I’ve created many designs for the upcoming Juxtaposition Fashion Show, namely the Theme Announcement + Moodboard, Modelling Behind the Scenes reel, Callout, and Model Cast posts. I always ensure to complete the posts long before they are due, for the rollout schedule to be followed closely.

I have additional experience with graphic design for my previous school, where I made presentation decks and posters for events, as well as marketing reels for the app Conni. As someone who has explored a lot of art forms, ranging from traditional, digital, embroidery and chainmail, I can approach the tasks with a more versatile perspective. Being able to combine my creativity with my love for fashion would be a great opportunity.

Even with my personal social media posts, I spend lots of time designing them and making digital art each time, since I see it as my creative outlet. Art and design is truly something I enjoy doing, so I am willing to devote a lot of my time to the role and hope to bring my creativity to the forefront.

By stepping up to the role of Head of Marketing, I wish to play a bigger part in MODO.
