I'm standing because I'd like to use the skills I've got to help spread the word about events and opportunities next year. I currently work as a marketing assistant for the SU, mostly with Jeremy Bearthem (the mascot) and as part of this I'm used to making and featuring in social media content. I'm also pretty familiar with Canva, photoshop and video editing, having run my school's music page in 6th form and doing some freelance photo editing in my free time. I'm organised and used to working to tight deadlines, like those necessary for getting posts up on time, updating the SU website, replying to DMs etc. I think this would be a really great opportunity to further develop these skills and get more people involved with MBPE soc.

I am passionate about improving the society’s social media and making it more informative, engaging and useful for students.

I want to improve communication about events and opportunities by making posts more consistent, which in turn will help the society to grow awareness and engagement. This will allow students to take part in more opportunities provided by our society.

I am proactive and organised, and I would bring creativity and professionalism to this role. I want to ensure the society’s online presence reflects the quality of the events and community, to make it easier for members to stay informed and involved. I hope to help strengthen communication between the society and its members, and contribute to its growth.
