Mahjong Society: Event Coordinator

Hi everyone, my name is Aidan, and I am running for Event Coordinator of the Mahjong Society because what better role is there than bringing people together to enjoy the game we all love? I have attended almost all sessions this year and have really enjoyed not just playing mahjong, but also the welcoming environment the committee has created. The society truly feels like a second home, and I would love to help continue that by organising engaging events for everyone.

If elected as Event Coordinator, I hope to organise well-planned activities that bring members together and strengthen our community. This includes regular game nights, beginner workshops, intra- and inter-university tournaments, collaborating with other societies, and increasing ticket availability so more members can join our sessions.

Mahjong is something I am truly passionate about, and I am very determined to be part of the committee so I can give back the same fun and welcoming experiences that I have enjoyed throughout my first year at UCL.
