Live Music Society: Tech Officer

Hi! My name is Athena, and I'm running to be one of your Technical Officers the 2026-2027 academic year :) 

It goes without saying that,  if elected, I will put in my best effort n to ensure the smooth running of all events and gigs, but an aspect of this position that particularly stands out to me is the opportunity to facilitate a more thorough understanding and appreciation of the technical side of music. As both a musician and a crew member, I hope to bridge the gap between the two and create an environment where everyone feels more comfortable engaging with the equipment they use onstage, a factor I believe is fundamental to musical growth. This will be done by continuing previous years technical workshops, but with greater consistency and covering a wider range of skills (we might even see an LM x Stagecrew collaboration, yay!!)
