Live Music Society: Bloomsbury Sessions Producer

Hiya, I’m yuki and I’m running for this brand new role on the LM committee as I’d love to make Bloomsbury Sessions alive next year.

As part of the very small two-person production team for Blooms Sessions 2025, I led the visual direction. From shaping initial ideas and sitting in rehearsals to executing the filming (AKA managing 4 cameras with two hands) to the editing, i witnessed what I love most about LM: people coming together to create something genuinely beautiful, sometimes a little chaotic, but always collaborative and emotionally real.

If elected, I would continue the  aesthetic and ethos established in Blooms Sessions 2025, maintaining its signature retro textures while developing customised visual styles that reflect each artist’s musical identity. I would also focus on a few key developments:

• More diverse outputs: aiming for three vocal pieces and one instrumental piece, with the possibility of mini-documentary content capturing the creative processes.
• A clearer timeline: artist selection in Term 1, filming in Term 2, post-production over Easter, and weekly releases throughout Term 3.
• A more open band recruitment process: internal recruitment with LM House Band Directors alongside an external open call.
• A more complete prod team : recruiting two sound/tech directors and a video director to support the audio and visual quality.

I’m keen to contribute to the distinctive and vibrant Blooms Sessions next year so vote for me xx.
