Life Science Society: Vice President

Hi everyone! I’m Aizhan and I’m running for Vice President of the Life Sciences Society.

Having served as Treasurer this year, I’ve really enjoyed being part of the committee :). It’s been great to see the behind-the-scenes effort that goes into supporting students and building a strong community within the department. Being involved this year has made me want to take on a larger role in helping the society run smoothly.

As Vice President, I would aim to support the committee across different areas of the society - whether that’s helping come up with event ideas, assisting with planning, or making sure things run smoothly in the lead-up to events. I’d also enjoy working closely with other committee members to help turn everyone's ideas into well-planned events that our members genuinely find useful and enjoyable.

I would love to help continue building that environment and support the committee in delivering activities that bring life sciences students together.

I care a lot about this society and the community it creates, so I would be committed to the role. I would really appreciate your support. Thank you! :)
