I would focus on highlighting LGBTQ+ network events that foster community within the LGBTQ+ student body and promoting initiatives that advance inclusion, allyship, and understanding. What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I have been an active member of the UCL LGBTQ+ Network for the past two years and regularly attend its events. This has given me insight into how the network successfully promotes its goals through media and where communication can be improved. I would bring this perspective to help strengthen engagement and visibility. I also have committee experience as Welfare Officer for both the World History Society and the SELCS Society, where I developed strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

Over the past two years, I have participated in events and wish to better the network by fostering strong communication to its members. With my experience, I wish to foster teamwork, organization, and a connection within the LGBTQ+ network. I will work to ensure the network’s events, voices, and initiatives are clearly promoted and reach as many students as effectively as possible.
