Knitting Society: Equipment Officer

As an experienced crocheter of 4 years and a knitter of 1.5 years, I am eager to support members in both starting and advancing their crochet or knitting skills. My background includes launching a 'Young Enterprise' business in selling hand-crocheted products in 2023-2024, where I successfully managed production and taught 4 of my teammates (which were all beginners) how to crochet. This experience gave me deep confidence in teaching and project management.

I am a frequent online buyer of knitting supplies (particularly from Wool Warehouse) and has a thorough understanding of yarn types, needle/hook sizing that works well with different types of projects, and cost-effective sourcing. I really enjoyed the movie nights and seasonal knitting workshops held this year therefore I am passionate about the fiber arts community and look forward to get involved and contribute to this society.
