Kendo Club: Captain

I am applying for the UCL Kendo Captain as I whole heartedly hope to improve both the quality of Kendo and enjoyment for all members at UCL. Since I first adopted the role of captain in HK, I realized how much I enjoyed aiding and teaching those around me. I believe the role of captain should entail and exhibit not only reliability, but also someone who is passionate and eager to lead others. As a Kendo player for over 8 years, I have had first hand experience with being captain of the HK junior team. Alongside that, I have also been lead by various seniors, providing me with paramount experiences as to what captains should possess. Ultimately, I believe that I have the capabilities to not only strengthen the quality of Kendo at UCL, leading the team in varying competitions, but also create an enjoyable learning environment for all members.
