Jazz Society: Media & Publicity Manager

Hellooo!!! I’m Suri and I would love love love to make more funny reels for us to laugh at. I take way too much pride (I probably shouldn’t, I know) in my deep knowledge of social media and my love for jazz puns. 20 years of unsupervised access to the internet - trust me, I know how to catch people’s attention.

I want to bring that lively energy to Jazz Society as your Media and Publicity Officer. I’ll make reels, posts, and content that are funny, aesthetic, and perfectly capture the vibe of our society. I have my film camera with me at all times, so expect some really cool shots of you playing. I 100% guarantee that if there’s a Jazz Soc reel, we’re getting 1000+ views. And I’ll make sure Phineas is packed every Tuesday (I cannot guarantee actually).

I also have experience with publicity and graphic design roles from Soulstice and Rhapsody, so I know how to create engaging graphics, posters, and content that gets noticed. I’m skilled in Adobe, Canva, Procreate, and basically any tool you need to make Jazz Society look amazing online. I’ll make sure posts are consistent, on time, and eye-catching, and I’m always open to ideas from the group.
