Samuel Lee

Hey there aspiring dictators!

My name is Samuel Lee, and I am running to be your Vice President for the UCL International Relations Society.

Proven Experience

Over the past year, as your Events Management Director, I organised visits with the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office, Romanian and Kazakh Embassies, as well as coordinating our Turkish Panel Event on campus.

If elected as Vice President, I hope to build on this momentum and use the opportunity to take the society even further next year.

Bigger and Better

If elected, I want to continue developing events that make international relations exciting and accessible!

IR Debates on current global issues // Inviting UCL professors, experts, and other societies to debate major international and contentious topics.

Career-focused events // Bringing in speakers from diplomacy, policy, consulting, and international organisations to give members insight into careers in international affairs.

- Socials that mix fun & discussion // eg. Political Board Games Night

An IR Society that reflects YOU!

Let’s build a society where we debate ideas, connect with professionals, and explore international relations together!

Vote Samuel Lee for Vice President!

Corinna Del Gaudio

I’m running for Vice-President because I want to play a central role in supporting and strengthening the International Relations Society as it continues to grow. I’m motivated not only by the success of individual events but by the overall direction, cohesion, and long-term impact of our society.

Serving as First-Year Representative this year gave me valuable insight into the committee’s work behind the scenes. Additionally, leading our delegation at the 5th Global Peace Summit in Bangkok allowed me to experience firsthand the planning, coordination, and communication required to ensure initiatives run smoothly. These experiences strengthened my understanding of how essential collaboration, structure, and reliability are within a committee.

As Vice-President, I would support the President and committee in maintaining our strong foundation, from embassy visits and panel discussions to new collaborations and initiatives. I want to help ensure continuity while encouraging fresh ideas that expand our reach and engagement, while also making sure every member feels welcomed and valued.

As a class representative, I’ve developed strong leadership, time management, and teamwork skills. I’m organised, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility, whether that means overseeing projects, supporting others, or stepping in when needed. I want to help shape a society that not only delivers excellent events but also builds a connected, ambitious, and vibrant community.
