Immunology Society: President

Hello everyone! I’m Nicole Huang, a Biomedical Sciences student interested in serving as President for the immunology society!

I am passionate about immunology and the impact it has on medicine, research and patient care. I would love to turn that passion into action by continuing to foster a community where students can explore it beyond their studies. 

I am organised, motivated and proactive, and I aim to continue planning engaging events that are inclusive, accessible and valuable for every member – whether you’re new to immunology or already passionate about it.

I hope to expand the society’s opportunities through new initiatives, including

• More networking, try to organise a conference with other societies from other universities to explore cutting-edge research in the field 
• More research-focused talks from PhD/master's students to better understand career prospects in the field 
• Industry talks for more career opportunities 
• More socials - painting, quizzes, picnics, pizza nights, movie nights etc 
• Continue to invite guest speakers
