Ice Club: Welfare Officer

I am standing to be UCL Ice Hockey Welfare Officer because I genuinely care about the wellbeing of our team both on and off the ice. Ice hockey is intense and physically demanding, but mental wellbeing, inclusion, and feeling supported are just as important as performance. As someone who studies Psychology at UCL, I understand how stress, pressure, and team dynamics can affect individuals differently. I want to help create a safe, open, and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable speaking up, whether it’s about injuries, academic pressure, or personal concerns. I would work to ensure that every member of the club feels valued, respected, and looked after throughout the season.
