Horse Riding Club: Welfare Officer

I believe that I would make a good Welfare Officer for the horse riding society due to my extensive experience around horses and with rider mental health. I have been around horses for most of my life and have experienced both the ups and the downs of being around horses including going from competing at national dressage championships to not riding at all due to nerves but still wanting to be around horses. Since then, I have come back to riding again and have worked through my nerves, an experience that has given me a unique lense to viewing rider mental health that I believe will be very helpful to assist club members. Horses have given me such beautiful memories and have connected me to wonderful people which is an experience I want to ensure all club members have. I am committed to making sure that all members of the club feel supported regardless of where they are in their riding journey or if they just want to learn more about horses, I firmly believe there is a place for everyone in this club.
