As Treasurer for the Women’s Hockey Club, I am fully committed to giving my all to the role and continuing to strengthen the foundations that make our club so successful.
Having attended every single TP ICAP event since joining the club, from the Women in Finance Breakfast to networking evenings, I genuinely value the outreach, professional insight, and connections our sponsor provides to this club. Supporting & strengthening that relationship would be a privilege.
As Kit Sec, I ensured essential playing kit was delivered before Christmas, worked over the summer to design and deliver committee stash ahead of the academic year and prioritised listening to feedback to ensure our kit was well-liked & streamlined. Financial management is evident in my role as Kit Sec; proactively establishing a strong relationship with Y1, I secured discounts that reduced costs for varsity kit and off-pitch stash.
My previous experience includes co-running Banking and Finance Society at my secondary school, organising finance events and liaising directly with our sponsors, Goldman Sachs, at the time. This experience required organisation, professionalism, and clear communication — all transferable skills I am eager to bring to this role.
I am approachable, friendly, and motivated to manage our finances responsibly while representing the club with pride, ensuring our relationship with TPICAP will continue to flourish, as well as any further and future sponsorship.
I'm Eloise, and I'm running to be Treasurer for 2026/27.As1s Vice-Captain, I've seen how much organisation and financial stability shape everyone's experience at UCLWHC. From ordering kit and organising matches, I am efficient, good with numbers, a clear communicator, and not afraid to be firm when needed. Balancing hockey alongside a time-intensive degree has strengthened my time management. My main priority as Treasurer will be sponsorship. We've had ongoing delays and unclear communication with TPICAP. While I would like to improve that relationship, securing an additional sponsor will be a key focus from the moment I'm elected. To do this, I will: wxyz. With rising pitch costs and increased expenditure, I would carefully review spending, build realistic budgets, and keep membership fees as low as possible. If adjustments are necessary, they would be well-deliberated, data-driven. Accessibility is important to me. I would advertise the Student Participation Fund and signpost how members can use it for memberships and kit, ensuring hockey remains inclusive. I am ‘lucky’ enough to be here until 2030. So I can ensure continuity in all sponsorship relationships, maintaining momentum and making it easier for future Treasurers to build on a strong foundation rather than starting from scratch. UCLWHC deserves financial stability and clear organisation so that every member can focus on enjoying their hockey. I would love the opportunity to contribute to that as your Treasurer.
